About the Role
Strategic Planning & Performance Manager will support the COO to lead the strategic planning function by assessing a broad range of trends and issues that span across markets, customer, competitor, regulatory and technology insights to develop winning strategies that will have a significant impact on the business.
Responsibilities
- Scanning the business environment for insights and trends to identify key growth opportunities that will build sustainable competitive advantages.
- Translating strategies into actionable functional deliverables and sustaining the momentum of execution to realise commitments to strategic plans
- Driving decision-making and ensuring major initiatives are coherent with the business’s strategic direction.
- Occasionally lead or support top of agenda, high impact strategic initiatives
- Develop and/ or update the business vertical’s strategies on a periodic cadence, by synthesizing:
- Internal business performance and competencies
- External trends (market, customer, competitor, regulatory, technological etc)
- Provide inputs and advise the Senior management team on key issues (e.g. strategic initiatives and major investments) based on clear issue framing, systems-level thinking and rigorous analyses
- Bridge business opportunities with product development via a keen grasp of the business imperatives and clear understanding of the possibilities and / or limitations of technology
- Actively and independently engage with company senior executives to communicate the vertical’s vision, identify new opportunities and to seek alignment on strategic priorities
Qualifications
- Strong academic track record, MBA will be an advantage
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience at strategy or management consultancy firm and/or courier and logistic industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong background in strategic thinking, analytics & demonstrated ability to problem solving
- Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
- Convincing executive presence, solid spoken and written communication skills including executive level communication / slides
- Able to work independently and in teams
